We will be spending Navaratri Festival (9 Nights of the Goddess) in Johari House, where the practices of this ancient Festival have been carried out for centuries.
We will be part of this. Including tasting the specially prepared foods for the Goddess (lotus seeds, peanuts and special dishes) Food that brings us closer to our Divine nature. Of course normal meals are also available.

You will be in the hands of the experienced Yoga instructor and Creative Living expert, Amanda Ahern BA, CSYT who is a veteran traveller and has lived and studied in India for many years
This will the 3rd tour Amanda has led in India.
Seema and Anu Agarwal from Spiritual Vacations are dynamic duo mother and daughter team.
Wonderful hosts and nothing is too much trouble. They have been leading groups in India for nearly 20 years
Seema Agarwal is the daughter of the famous teacher and prolific writer and Tantra Master Dada Shri Harish Johari. He built Johari House in Haridwar so that we could come to visit that part of the world and benefit from its many blessings.
Located just 15 mins from the centre of Haridwar, Johari House is a large Indian home just a stones throw from the banks of the Ganges.
The itinerary is flexible and relaxed with Seema on hand to provide an array of delectable choices for us to choose from each day. And if you feel to stay at home and just paint, you can.
Or you may feel like having a wander along the Ganges and visit the tiny local temples there, or tour a local ashram and their local handicraft shop.
When you are visiting spiritually charged destinations the company you keep, enriches your experience.
The journey is structured around daily Yoga class, chanting, artistic activities and visits to local goddess temples.... all wonderful ways to cultivate lasting friendships based on shared experiences.
